About Acorns

Acorns are like tiny treasures you can find under oak trees! They are the seeds of oak trees, and if they get planted by a squirrel or fall in just the right spot, a brand new oak tree can grow from them. Many animals, like squirrels, jays, and deer, love to eat acorns, helping to spread them around. Each acorn has a little cap, like a tiny hat, protecting the seed inside.
