About Mummies
Mummies are bodies, often of people or animals, that have been preserved for a very long time! Ancient Egyptians believed in an afterlife and carefully wrapped their dead to prepare them for their journey. They used special salts to dry the bodies and then carefully wrapped them in strips of linen cloth. Sometimes, they even placed them in beautifully decorated sarcophagi, which are like fancy coffins. It’s like a super old way of keeping someone’s memory alive!
How to Color Online
Using our online paint-bucket tool is super easy! Just pick a color from the palette, then click on any area of the drawing you want to fill. Think sandy browns and old parchment yellows for the mummy wraps, and maybe some sparkling gold or deep blue for ancient Egyptian jewelry or sarcophagus details!
